In my last post, I mentioned that I’m “retiring” from tutoring … and finishing up my A Summerland Stories Scrapbook: Memories & Memorabilia book activities … and moving on to other “retirement” activities that I’ve been putting off for a long time.

One of those activities is reading books. Of course, in the past year or so, I’ve read a tremendous amount of articles, short stories, social media posts and comments, magazines, blogs, news posts, and on and on and on. But I was thinking that I haven’t been reading whole books much at all. I also mentioned in a previous post that I jot down my daily activities in my agenda book, and then transfer “important” activities, especially those related to reading and writing and editing, to another notebook once a week.

So today I was flipping through the latter notebook today, and realized that I’ve actually read quite a few BOOKS this year (2025). I was also interested to realize that they reflect quite a variety of personal interests and activities. So I thought I’d just dot down my 2025 (so far) book reading … and give you an opportunity to share what you’ve been reading, too! So here goes:

And now? I’m digging into Developmental Editing: A Handbook for Freelancers, Authors, and Publishers … and I also went into my Kindle account and discovered 23 books I have ordered over the past few years and never quite got to reading! LOL! So I guess they’ll be on my list soon 🙂
